Sealed Bids addressed to the City of Orange are invited for the construction of certain public works or furnishing of services described as City of Orange HMGP Contract No. DR-4485, FEMA Project No. 0488-Police Department Generator. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work. Bids must be fully sealed inside an envelope and clearly marked with the proposer's information and the project name and number (BID #2026-04, HMGP-DR-4485-0488 Police Generator) on both the envelope and any courier package. Respondents must certify eligibility to participate and confirm they have not been suspended, debarred, or determined ineligible by any federal, state, or local government entity. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City cf Orange is upgrading their existing power installation with installation of a new Power Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch at their Police Site in Orange, Texas. This project includes replacing the existing 600 kW Generator with a new 600 kW, 3ph, 480/277V Diesel Generator and a new 1000 Amp Automatic Transfer. The informatian contained in this Scope of Work is intended to define the parties, activities, and responsibilities required for the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Electrical. This summary will define the parties and outline the highlights of activities, and responsibilities to complete the project on budget and schedules. It is not the entirety of the scope of work Contractor shall utilize plans, specifications, work summary and generally accepted Industry practices to complete this project.
