Reference Number 0000413129 The City of Grand Junction, Colorado, is soliciting competitive proposals from experienced, qualified contractors to establish an annual on-call contract with one or more firms to provide citywide, on-demand temporary traffic control services on an as-needed basis. Services will support construction and maintenance activities, capital and operational projects, City-sponsored events, and emergency response operations. All traffic control services shall be implemented in full compliance with the MUTCD, applicable CDOT standards, and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including the ADA. The Contractor shall ensure that pedestrian routes, sidewalk closures, detours, and temporary pedestrian routes and accessible paths of travel are maintained in full compliance with the ADA accessibility standards for the duration of the traffic control operation. The resulting contract is intended to ensure the safe and efficient movement of motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and workers, while providing consistent, professionally managed, and MUTCD-compliant traffic control services across all City departments.
