Labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary for the following project: Pulverizing 32,300 SY; Common Excavation 7,500 CY; HMA Pavement 9,200 TON; Base Aggregate Dense 17,900 TON; Culvert 1,850 LF; Striping 42,000 LF; Ditching and Restoration 20,000 SY; Concrete Curb & Gutter 800 LF. Actual work shall be commenced within ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed has been issued. All bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes, plainly marked for proper identification. An optional paper set of project documents is also available for a nonrefundable price. All bidders shall be required to submit a "Bidder's Proof of Competency" questionnaire, included in the contract document. No bid can be received or considered unless accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to the Town of Walworth. If the bid is accepted, the bidder must execute and file the proper contract and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds within ten (10) days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. The Town of Walworth reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive or not to waive any informality in the bidding. After bids are opened, no bid can be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days thereafter.
