Renovation of an educational facility in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,100-square-foot, one-story below grade educational facility.
Conversion of the existing basement level space below auxiliary gymnasium to an expanded woodworking shop and classroom space (approximately 8,100 SF). Renovated spaces include additional shop, storage, classroom, office, and toilets. Sealed bids will be received to furnish all materials and labor for the Woodwork Shop And Classroom Project. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. The awarded vendor must comply with the requirements of E-Verify. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
