The work consists of: constructing roadway improvements including concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, and curb ramps at intersections; installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic control and erosion control measures; performing all removal of structures and obstructions, clearing and grubbing, and earthwork operations; installing permanent signing and striping; installing illumination and interconnect modifications; and performing additional incidental work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be received electronically via the County's OpenGov Procurement Portal before the stated deadline. Bids must include a residency statement as defined in ORS 279C.365 and a bid bond, irrevocable letter of credit, certified check, or cashier's check of at least ten percent of the total bid. Bidders must be prequalified by the Oregon Department of Transportation and licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board pursuant to ORS 701.026, effective on or before the date and time of bid opening. Bidders must use the bid and bid guaranty forms furnished by the County. Bidders are responsible for checking and downloading all addenda from the OpenGov Procurement website prior to bidding. First-tier Subcontractors Disclosure Form must be submitted no later than two work hours after the time bids are due, either with the bid or via a separate, linked solicitation on the OpenGov Procurement site. Forms submitted by email, fax, or in person will not be accepted. Licensing for working with asbestos is not required for this project.
