Design Services for the Northwest Corridor Bus Rapid Transit Service (BRT) The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is seeking design services for the Northwest Corridor Bus Rapid Transit Service. COTA is the region’s public transportation system for the Columbus region and is expanding its services as part of the LinkUS transit modernization plan. This plan includes new and improved fixed-route lines, new microtransit zones, rapid transit lines, and infrastructure to improve connectivity. COTA provides transportation to a population of 1.4 million residents across 562 square miles and is focused on supporting sustainable growth with improved mobility options for the community. The scope includes the delivery of design services to support the implementation of the Northwest Corridor BRT, with an emphasis on supporting land use decisions and mobility options that foster connected, vibrant communities. As of April 7, 2026, a design firm selection timeline has not been disclosed.
