Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in California, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Demolition of existing bridge and construction of a new 77-foot single span prestressed NU-Girder concrete bridge, approach roadway work, and incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Demolition of existing LWC and construction of a new single cell concrete box culvert, approach roadway work, and incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bidders must purchase plans through Great River Engineering, Inc. and be on the planholder list in order to bid the project. Bidders must comply with prevailing hourly wage rates as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations or the United States Department of Labor, paying the higher of the two. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List. A 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program must be provided for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Moniteau County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
