Project Overview: The County is seeking sealed bids for painting services in designated areas of the courthouse, including the main hallway and stairways. Work must be performed professionally with minimal disruption to courthouse operations. Scope of Work Hallway Painting Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, and doors (cleaning, patching, priming as needed). Apply interior paint in colors approved by the County prior to commencement of work. Protect floors, fixtures, and adjacent areas during work. Remove debris and restore hallway to usable condition daily. Ceiling Assessment & Painting Contractor shall inspect the courthouse hallway ceiling and provide a written recommendation: o Option A: Repaint the entire ceiling for uniform finish. o Option B: Repair and repaint only areas where paint is peeling or coming off. Recommendation must include cost comparison, expected longevity, and risks of partial repair. Final scope will be determined by the County Commissioners. Stairway Painting Contractors shall provide separate bids for: 1. Stairway leading to the restrooms 2.
