Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and multi-residential development.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the demolition/clearance of one house and the provision/set-up of one State Building Code modular house. The project includes housing clearance, modular replacement on site, and rehabilitation activities, funded by a federal CDBG-NR grant. All federal CDBG requirements apply, including compliance with Section 109, E.O. 11246, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Anti-Kickback Act, E-Verify Regulations, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The Town encourages participation from small, minority, women-owned, veteran-owned, Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), and Section 3 businesses. Bidders may not be debarred from receiving state or federal contracts. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject bids.
