Paving for an educational facility in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a educational facility.
The Meyersdale Area School District will be accepting sealed bids for paving. Bids are to be received in the business office at 309 Industrial Park Road Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, on or before 2:00 pm, March 23, 2026. Bid specifications are available by contacting Shannon Brant at sbrant@masd.net. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. It is the intent of the District to award a contract on Wednesday , April 1, 2026. Work shall commenceas soon as possible after April 1, 2026 and shall be completed by August 1, 2026. Materials to be used : Approximately 8,900 square feet of asphalt (approx . 110 cu . yds .) Approximately 8,900 squarefeel of 2A subbase(approx. 110 cu. yds .) Drainage basins and drain pipe. Work to be performed : Excavate area to approximately 8 inch depth . Install drainage basins and drain pipe . Connect newly installed drainage to existing field drainage . Place and grade subbaseto a 4 inch depth . Pavebinder course asphalt to a depth of 2.5 inches. Pave wearing course asphalt to a depth of 1.5 inches. Maintain 45 degreeedgewhen paving and supportedgeswith subbase
