Division I - Low Bidders- Bainbridge Construction, LLC - $823,041 Division II - Low Bidder - $336,988 Work generally consists of approximately 1,250 LF (Division I) and 575 LF (Division II) of road reconstruction including, but not limited to: grading, excavation, subgrade preparation and modified subbase; adjustment of sanitary sewer structures; storm sewer improvements; water main improvements; 6 PCC driveways; 7 PCC roadway (Alternates I) or HMA pavement (Alternates II); pavement removals; temporary traffic control; erosion control items. All proposals must be made on official proposal forms furnished by the Engineer and contain worded and figured prices. Proposals must be plainly legible, sealed, and addressed as specified. Bidders must submit a Bidder Status Form with their bid. Bid security must be provided in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, certified share draft, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bid security must be included in a separate sealed envelope marked "bid bond". The successful bidder must execute performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $500 per working day will be assessed for delay in completion. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after closing. The right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities is reserved. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
