The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and related services necessary to perform the required 5-year fire protection testing in accordance with NFPA 25 to ensure continued compliance with the Joint Commission and NFPA standards. Services include comprehensive inspection, testing, maintenance, and flow testing for standpipe systems, wet sprinkler systems, and dry sprinkler systems for designated buildings, including internal inspections of piping, valve inspections, hydrostatic testing of fire department connections and dry systems, and verification of system integrity to identify and address issues such as corrosion or blockages that may impede water flow. The contractor shall also conduct five-year inspections on all gauges, zones, and fire department check valves, ensuring all gauges are inspected using calibrated equipment. Work must be performed in a manner that maintains a professional appearance within an active medical environment. A certified NFPA 25 field service representative with a minimum of five years of continuous specialized inspection and testing experience is required.
