Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Part A requires replacement of approximately 10,800 linear feet of 8" water main using open cut methods, including new water services, lead service line replacements, hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances. Part B involves complete surface restoration of approximately 11,000 linear feet of roadway, including asphalt milling and resurfacing, structure adjustments, and the removal and replacement of select sidewalks, driveways, and curb and gutter. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond, or cashier’s check payable to the Village. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act and applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. Bids must be submitted electronically, and vendors are required to register and be logged in before viewing bid documents. Detailed instructions for registration, linking vendor numbers, and bid submission are provided via the Electronic Bid Management System.
