Renovation of a fire / police facility in North Quincy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire station.
The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to repair damaged areas of burn building. CMU, clay fire plugs, mortar and grout to match existing Question Deadline 02/20/2026 at 5:00 PM ET REPAIRS: FIRST FLOOR: Replace damaged concrete blocks in the three upper corners of the front entry room. Replace roughly a 4' x 6' area of concrete block in the top half of the "chimney" wall. Replace cracked concrete lintel on the interior wall between the two rear rooms. Replace cracked concrete lintel over door leading from the rear of the garage into the rear burn room. SECOND FLOOR: Replace damaged concrete blocks in the front room top corner of the interior wall. Replace ~ 4' x 5' area of concrete block in the upper half of the interior wall on the northwest side of the building. Replace cracked lintel and other damage around the window opening on the northwest corner of the building. THIRD FLOOR: Replace a small area of concrete blocks in the top of the wall between the front burn room and the stairwell. Replace ~ 1' x 4' section of concrete block in the top of the interior of the wall where the flat roof meets the pitched roof. Repair a small area ~ 1' x 2' of spalled concrete on the second floor landing at the top of the stairs. It is at the anchor point of the metal stairs and the metal handrail on the northwest side of the building.
