Moraine Township is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 exterior masonry facade repairs at the Moraine Township Offices located in Highland Park, IL. The project encompasses approximately 1,100 square feet of brick masonry surface. All prospective bidders shall attend a mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site. It is the responsibility of the bidder/contractor to attend and sign-in at the pre-bid conference; failure to do so will result in rejection of the bid. The company name registered at sign-in must match that of the company submitting the bid. This will be the only time for escorted access to the project site. Stipulated lump sum bids will be publicly opened at the designated township office. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent of the base bid is required. Performance, labor and material payment bonds and a certificate of insurance will be required from the successful bidder. Moraine Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract as best serves its interest. All bidders must comply with Illinois statutes requiring payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers on the project. If wage rates change during the work period, the contractor is responsible for any additional costs without a change to the contract amount. Bidding documents can be obtained electronically for a non-refundable print fee, with no sets available at the pre-bid meeting.
