The Old West Interceptor Manhole Rehabilitation Project is located along the MMSD Old West Interceptor, south of Braxton Place and north of West Washington Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin, and includes reconstruction of manholes MH02-002 and MH02-003. Work consists of removal and replacement of existing manhole components, installation of new precast risers and flat tops, placement of District-provided adjustment rings and castings, installation of infiltration/inflow (I/I) barriers, joint sealing and wrapping, and associated excavation and backfilling. The sanitary interceptor shall remain in service, and work shall be coordinated with the City of Madison Project 15476 and the City's contractor, Homberg Contractors Inc., to integrate with adjacent improvements.
