Site work for a mixed-use development in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of the reconstruction of the asphalt parking lot at Hoyt Park. Work includes removing the existing curb and gutter and asphalt and rebuilding the lot per the contract's plans. Resurfacing and reconstruction of some of the asphalt park paths are included in the contract. This project also adds some concrete sidewalk and a bio retention basin to the site. Bidders may submit bids entirely electronically, entirely by hand, or a combination of both. All forms must be supplied by the City of Madison as attached to the contract documents; substitute forms may not be accepted. Review and download bid documents free by registering with the Bid Express site. A digital ID and payment are required to submit an electronic bid. Follow the instructions in each section of the bid documents, as most sections require action for a valid bid. Improperly completed bids will not be accepted. Actions certified during electronic submittal must be verified as true, or the bid will be deemed non-responsive. Registration as a plan holder is important to ensure notification of all revisions or addenda. Only contractors with a valid digital ID from Bid Express may submit electronic bids. Bids may be submitted online through Bid Express or in person at the specified location. Bidders must use the forms provided and comply with all requirements for a successful submission. Prequal Application Due By 02/19/2026 SBE GOAL 20% Bid Bond (5%) This section is a required document for the bid to be considered complete. These are the choices for meeting the bid bond requirement. One: The bid bond can be submitted in the form of a certified check. Two: Bid bond (City of Madison form). Three: Biennial bid bond on file with the City of Madison.
