Question Deadline 03/05/2026 at 3:00 PM ET All requests for information (RFI) are due by utilizing the Yezzi Associates RFI form provided in the specifications. Any questions received after this date will be responded to at the direction of the Architect/Owner. Sealed bids are requested for the proposed renovation to the Brick Campus of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (Primary HVAC Replacement). Bidders must submit two copies of the bid: one original, one paper copy of all documents, and one electronic copy on a USB flash drive. If unable to submit the USB flash drive with the bid, it must be provided within 24 hours. Contract Documents are available for review at the office of the Architect (Yezzi Associates, LLC) and can be purchased for a non-refundable fee. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Affirmative Action, Prevailing Wage Act, and Public Schools Contract Law. A valid Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate and prequalification by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction are required. Required documents include a Prequalification Affidavit, Notice of Classification, Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form, and an Affidavit regarding bidder qualification information. Bid security of 10% of the total bid (not to exceed $20,000 for bids over $100,000) is required. The construction period is 210 calendar days with a liquidated damages clause of $500 per day for late completion. Monthly applications for payment are required, with a 2% retainage. The Board of Education reserves the right to increase quantities by 20% or decrease by 100% as specified. The term of the contract will be nine months from the date of bid award, unless otherwise noted. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informality or immaterial information in the public interest. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
