The project consists generally of refurbishing the existing pool filters at Buffaloe Rd Aquatic Center, located at 5908 Buffaloe Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616. Bidders are required to show evidence of licensure to perform the work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. The City of Raleigh encourages participation from certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), with a goal for prime contractors to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding. Bids will be received electronically until the specified date and time. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, considering quality, performance, and specified time for contract performance. Requests for bidding documents must include company name, contact person, address, phone, email, contractor’s license with limitation and classification, and indication of firm role (Prime bidder, Supplier, or Sub-Contractor). The project requires pre-bid submittals of any “or-equal” products in accordance with the instructions to bidders.
