Renovation of a municipal facility in Middletown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
** As of 3/16/26 - Note: All addenda(s) must be acknowledged, signed and included in bid package. If preferred, you may also confirm receipt by faxing to (513) 425-7921, Attention: Michelle Evans, Contracts Administrator. ** Sealed proposals endorsed "Middletown City Building - 4th Floor Window Replacement" are sought for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the reconstruction as specified in the bid documents. The work consists of replacing all windows on the 4th floor of the Middletown City Building. All work must be completed and acceptable within 240 days from the Notice to Proceed. All proposals must be properly executed on the official proposal forms as issued by the City and bound with other required documents and specifications. Proposals not in conformity with this notice will be considered informal and may be rejected. Each bidder must state, in their proposal, their name, place of residence, and the names of all interested parties. For corporations, only the President and Secretary names are required. No bid may be withdrawn after deposit. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty bond, certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide a 100% performance bond within ten days after the contract is awarded. The address and telephone number of the bonding company and agent must be included with all bonds. Bidders must comply with State Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Improvements in Butler County and Middletown, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Auditor of State Division of Industrial Compliance & Labor. Contractors must certify compliance with the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation's Drug Free Workplace Program within ten days of bid award. Failure to meet this certification will render the bid non-responsive. The right to reject any oral bids is reserved. Informalities may be waived at the option of the City Council.
