Renovation of a medical facility in Bassfield, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,429-square-foot medical facility.
The project consists of the renovation of an existing single-family residence of approximately 1,429 gross square feet into a school-based and community health clinic. Work includes interior demolition and clean-out; selective structural and exterior repairs; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modifications; ADA and life-safety upgrades; construction of public and private staff restrooms; new interior partitions, finishes, doors, and hardware; limited site work including ADA parking, exterior lighting, and signage; and final cleaning and project turnover. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, or a certified bid bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed by the State of Mississippi and signed by an agent resident in Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount. Bid documents are being made available via electronic copy. Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.mc3lroyarchplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. All Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference to be held at 4135 Highway 42, Bassfield MS. Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Order Numbers 11246 and 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act and the Davis Bacon Act. Bidders shall furnish a certification of prior work under Executive Order 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity). Contract award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and Jefferson Davis County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
