Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of constructing a new public sidewalk segment, removing and replacing an existing median and installing new concrete bases for Steamboat Springs Urban Redevelopment Authoritystye pedestrian lights, including pull boxes and empty conduit connecting the new light bases to transformers. Reference Number 0000413361 Bid Intent Not Available The Complete Streets Segment 3C and 4A Public Lighting and 4B Phase II Construction project will improve user safety, functionality and aesthetics for a significant portion of Mount Werner Circle through the installation of an important missing sidewalk segment, new pedestrian lighting and the reconstruction of a degraded median. The missing sidewalk segment lies along the western edge of the Knoll Parking lot, with construction to include associated drainage improvements. The median to be reconstructed lies to the northwest of the Eagleridge Drive intersection and will be improved with new curbing, a concrete apron and landscaping. The project includes the installation of 14 URA-style concrete light bases with electrical conduit connecting them to an existing transformer. The new light bases and conduit are for URA-style pedestrian lights will be installed along the sidewalk recently constructed on the Steamboat Grand's property, running from just south of the Amble's driveway, past the Arnold Barn and up to the Steamboat Grand's driveway. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each bid greater than $50,000 must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the Owner for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the Owner will return the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the agreement is executed the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bid bond of the successful bidder will be retained until the payment bond and performance bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a bid bond. For contracts greater than $50,000 a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The City of Steamboat Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals and enter into a contract or issue a purchase order which, in its opinion, best serves the needs of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens.
