The project consists of renovations to the Women's shower, locker, and restroom area. The work includes demolition of existing walls, floors, ceilings, shower plumbing fixtures, and drain, with temporary dust/debris containment to adjacent occupied spaces, asbestos abatement, and construction of new walls, floors, ceilings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, drainage, ventilation, exhaust fan, lockers/accessories, and appurtenances as described in the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) as prescribed. This project is subject to MBE/WBE participation requirements, with total MWBE goals of 15%. OCWA reserves the right to waive any informalities with respect to any bid and to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 03/12/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. In accordance with the goals and conditions of these Contract Documents regarding utilization of MBE/WBE, the Bidder shall provide at least 15 percent of the contract amount through combined Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE). Further, neither the MBE nor WBE participation should be less than 7 percent of the total contract amount. If the prime contract is with an MBE, the participation requirement shall be 7 percent for WBE only and vice versa if the prime contract is with a WBE.
