Wastewater Treatment Facility Recirculation Pump Station Improvements The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to improve return activated scum (RAS) and scum pumping in the existing Recirculation Building, including replacement of two vertical, non-clog, centrifugal RAS pumps, one positive displacement scum pump, with associated piping, valves and appurtenances, electrical work, instrumentation, painting, and demolition. The work includes the replacement of the existing motor control center, the installation of a temporary motor control center, and installation of a network cable between the Recirculation Building and the Administration Building, including coordination with the Owner's Programmer for PLC and OIT programming, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project. Pre-Bid Meeting 03/03/2026 at 1:00 PM PT Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond equal to five percent of the bid amount. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and provide satisfactory performance bond within the time stated, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. Attendance of a site visit/conference is mandatory to bid. The City of Ellensburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or bidding. Responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors will be considered in making the award. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening, unless the award of contract is delayed for more than sixty days. The engineer's range for the project is $1,750,000 to $2,000,000.
