Site work and paving for a road / highway in Aston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This project involves milling, superpave wearing course, superpave base repair, leveling, pavement markings, and appurtenant work. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PENNDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PENNDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, latest edition. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Performance and Payment bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded, with separate bonds required for each Township. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day. Bids must be submitted unconditionally and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owners reserve the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
