Site work and paving for a road / highway in Aston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This project involves milling, superpave wearing course, superpave base repair, leveling, pavement markings, and appurtenant work. Bids must be submitted electronically, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid. Performance and payment bonds or a certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded, with separate bonds required for each Township. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $885.00 per calendar day. Bids must be submitted unconditionally and may not be withdrawn within sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The owners reserve the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 07/01/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Milling, sphalt wearing courses, bituminous base repair, joint sealant, and pavement markings in accordance with Township Specifications (attached) and PennDOT 408 Specifications, latest edition thereof.
