This Work Package includes furnishing and constructing the Aeromod (Activated Sludge Process) Basin, Blower Building, associated piping, process equipment, and startup services in accordance with the Contract Documents. Key Scope Elements: - Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, incidentals, and insurance required for construction of the Aeromod Basin and Blower Building. - Piping: Excavate, install, connect, test, and backfill all piping and manholes, including connections to existing systems. Provide all trench safety plans, protective systems, equipment, and labor in accordance with applicable regulations and Contract Documents. Piping systems include: Primary Effluent (PE): Line 4; Drain Line (DR): Line 17A; Compressed Air (CA): Lines 15A, 15B, 15C, 15D, 15E, 15F, 29A; Secondary Effluent (SE): Lines 5A, 5B; Sludge (SL): Line 16. - Construction Road Maintenance: Maintain the construction access road in a safe and passable condition throughout the construction phase, including grading, dust control, drainage management, and ongoing maintenance as directed by the CMAR. - Process Seeding: Establish the biological treatment environment by seeding the aeration basin with activated sludge obtained from the adjacent wastewater treatment plant in a manner sufficient to initiate and sustain biological activity for proper process startup. - Blowers: Furnish and install three (3) blowers complete with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and harmonic filters. - Permits & Inspections: Coordinate and obtain all required permits, certificates, and inspections in accordance with the Contract Documents and City of Pilot Point requirements. - Site Restoration: Restore all disturbed areas to match surrounding grades per Contract Documents. - Borrow Area: Utilize the Borrow Area for backfill or disposal of clean spoils, as permitted. - Startup & Testing: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, commissioning, functional testing, and operator training for all applicable systems, equipment, and structures. Failure to meet required milestones or final completion date will result in liquidated damages of $2,500 per day. Exclusions: None specified. Alternates: None specified.
