Furnishing all tools, materials, and labor and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of PROJECT NO. 2026 MPO C2 NON-ARTERIAL MILL, PATCH & OVERLAY MZ 9043. Contract requirements include compliance with non-discrimination in employment and a Small Business Enterprise utilization goal of ten percent. Bidders must commit to employing at least fifty percent bona fide residents of the City of Tulsa and/or MSA in each employment classification, and hire only U.S. citizens. The project is exempt from sales or use taxes. A Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidders Surety Bond in the sum of 5% of the bid amount is required. The successful bidder must furnish public liability and workmen's compensation insurance; Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance bonds at 100% of the contract price, in conformity with the proposed contract documents. Bidding is subject to a local preference law as defined in Oklahoma Statutes, Title 61, Section 103. All bids will be opened and considered by the Bid Committee in the City Council Room of City Hall at the specified time and date. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will be accepted only from holders of valid pre-qualification certificates from the City of Tulsa in classification A or C. Attendance at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required. Bids will not be received from contractors who did not attend the Pre-Bid Conference. All contract and bond requirements must be met by the bidder selected for award.
