Site work and paving for a road / highway in Taylor, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Prequalified Maintenance Contractor (Category Ba) for concrete pavement repairs on US-24, between Goddard Road and Eureka Road, within Wayne County (Taylor Transportation Service Center jurisdiction). The intent is to patch the worst areas of pavement within the project limits, with approximately 400 +/- individual patch locations to be marked by the Engineer after traffic control is in place. The Contractor must provide all labor, materials/supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, and any incidental services or items required to perform the work in a safe, workmanlike manner. All work must comply with MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, applicable Special Provisions, and Supplemental Specifications. All workers must wear high-visibility safety apparel and comply with local noise, dust, and work-hour ordinances. Bidders must follow all instructions, submit required forms by the proposal deadline, and provide a complete response to all requirements and questions. If subcontractors are used, they must be prequalified and registered, and their information must be disclosed. The State evaluates proposals on a pass/fail basis according to completeness and responsiveness to requirements, with award to the responsive, responsible bidder with the lowest price.
