Proposals are invited for road resurfacing work in the Buttercup Creek, Parkway, and Parkwest Neighborhoods involving thin mill and overlay consisting of inch edge milling along the lip of gutter and conform milling into intersections, 1 inch asphalt overlay, raising valves and manholes, 2 inch milling and overlay with 2 inch HMAC, pavement markings, raised pavement markers, and subgrade repair for roadway and curb and gutter at various locations as needed. For the Ranchettes 6 & 6A Neighborhood, the work includes pulverizing 2 inches of existing asphalt in place, moisture conditioning, smooth grading and compacting, overlaying with 2 inches of HMAC Type D, adding tapers to driveways, and installing pavement marking stop bars and raised pavement markers. Proposals must be submitted in PDF format via Civcastusa.com and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the amount of five percent of the proposer's total amount, in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a Bond by a qualified surety. During the RFP period, proposers may not contact any city staff except those designated.
