The work to be performed includes the construction of new sidewalks and curbs as part of the 2026 Sidewalk and Curb Replacement Program and general concrete work for the City of Washington. The quotes submitted must include all necessary general, construction, labor, materials, tools, and equipment costs related to the proper and satisfactory execution of the contract. All materials and work must comply with the specified requirements outlined in Item 3 and Item 4 of the information to bidders and the Owner's Specifications. Instructions to bidders: Quotes must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name and quoter’s address, completed on forms provided by the City, and must include Indiana State Board of Accounts form 96. No quote security, performance bond, or payment bond is required. Quotes can be submitted by mail or in person and must arrive by the specified deadline. Quotes will be evaluated on responsibility and responsiveness. No withdrawals are allowed for sixty days post-opening without City consent. The City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, delete portions, waive informalities, and award the contract to the lowest, responsible, and responsive quoter as allowed by law.
