Sealed bids in duplicate are invited for reroofing projects at three different sites for Washington Housing Authority in Washington, Indiana. The work locations are: Greenwood Street; N.W. Sixth Street and Robinson Street and Jefferson Street; and S.W. 6th Street, Mound Street, S.W. Fifth Street. Work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications on file at the Office of the Architect and the Office of the Executive Director. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be executed using the provided Proposal Form, include a completed Questionnaire Form 96A (or certified CPA Financial Statement), and be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond, cashier's check, certified check or deposit, payable to Washington Housing Authority for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Bids must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope addressed to the Office of the Executive Director and clearly marked with the bidder's name, project name, and contract(s) bidding. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive any informality or errors for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening. The successful contractor must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount at least equal to 100% of the contract amount. Wage rates shall comply with Department of Housing & Urban Development / Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage requirements. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Office of the Architect with a refundable deposit. Digital copies may also be purchased from the Architect. Supplementary sheets for subcontractors or suppliers are available at an additional cost without refund.
