Removal o Remove existing parking meter posts as identified in Exhibit A (excluding posts located in grass areas unless specifically directed). o Remove associated concrete footings in their entirety. o Properly dispose of all removed materials in accordance with NJDEP regulations. Sidewalk and Surface Restoration o Restore all disturbed sidewalk curb or grass areas in a workmanlike manner. o Concrete shall achieve compressive strength of 4,000 psi at 28 days. o Portland cement Type II and Type III shall conform to ASTM C150. o Mixing the concrete should be done until there is uniform distribution of materials and mass is homogeneous is consistency and color. o Mix only amount that will be placed within 90 minutes and discharge at site within 90 minutes after water has been introduced into mixer. o Re-tempering of concrete is not permitted. o Any concrete mixed at site in excess of 3 cubic feet must be mixed in approved type of power operated batch mixer. o Sidewalk thickness shall be a minimum of 5 inches. o All restoration shall match existing sidewalk finish and grade. o Any pavers disturbed shall be carefully removed, stored, and reinstalled. o Damaged pavers shall be replaced in kind. o Provide topsoil and seed to any disturbed non-paved areas. All work shall be completed within 45 calendar days
