Renovation of a power facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
**As of April 8, 2026, the project was awarded to Omaha Mechanical LLC, with an awarded amount of $242,069.50** Furnishing of all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, and superintendence for LNG Tank Staircase Safety Improvements, GP2946, 100020000022. All bids must be submitted electronically. Bidders must comply with the Nebraska Foreign Adversary Prohibition Act, certifying they are not a scrutinized company and that their products or services do not originate with a scrutinized company. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held, and failure to attend may constitute grounds for rejection of the bid. Bid documents can be downloaded free of charge from the Procurement Portal. Modifications to existing stairs (Each) - Installation of stainless steel flat bar toe kicks on each stair. Includes surface preparation and welding. Items 2 & 3 on Exhibit A Bill of Materials. B. Additions to existing handrail (Lump Sum) - Installation of stainless steel pipe and flat bar to increase height of safety railing and add cross-rails. Includes surface preparation and welding. Items 1, 4, 5, & 6 on Exhibit A Bill of Materials. C. Reinforcements to handrails (Each) - Installation of stainless steel angle stock to reinforce handrail supports. Includes surface preparation and welding. Item 7 on Exhibit A Bill of Materials. D. Painting (Lump Sum) - All labor, equipment, and materials required for the application of primer to welds and any areas where the existing coating is removed. Includes surface preparation. See Exhibit B for coating specifications. E. Mobilization (Lump Sum) - All labor, equipment, and materials to mobilize and demobilize to and from the job site. Also includes all insurance, bonding, and permit costs associated with the Work.
