Sealed proposals are requested for a Roof Replacement Project for Building 116 located at 3857 Sky Park Road, Grand Island, NE 68801. All materials and workmanship must comply with local building codes and specifications. The Contractor is responsible for securing the local building permit. Proposals must be valid for at least 90 days after the deadline. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept the proposal that is in its best interest, at its sole discretion. All inquiries shall be made in writing and all responses, along with any addendums, will be posted on Authority website To be given consideration, inquiries must be received by March 12th, 2026 @ 2 PM. It shall be the responsibility of each proposing contractor to acknowledge any addendum(s) on Bid Form prior to submitting proposal. Building is of metal construction. Building is 120 ft. x 340 ft. with a roof area of 40,800 square feet. Scope: 1. Surface preparation, removing all dirt, oils, and debris. 2. Inspect and secure any loose fasteners and replace missing fasteners. 3. Patch any breaks in existing metal. 4. Seal around all penetrations 5. Caulk or base coat over fasteners. 6. Caulk and seal all vertical and horizontal seams. 7. Apply appropriate roofing system so as finished product will have 15-20 mil thickness over field metal and 50+ mil thickness over fasteners and penetrations
