The work includes all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of roadway milling and asphalt concrete overlay. Proposals must be signed and submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents, with only Division 5 to be submitted. Each bidder must include with their proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the County Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five percent of their proposal. The awarded contractor must furnish, within ten days after award, surety bond(s) in a sum equal to the full contract amount, in a form and with a surety acceptable to the Hall County Board of Commissioners. The bidder must include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The contractor is allowed 40 calendar days for completion, with the required final completion date of June 1, 2026. The Hall County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the contract will follow the requirements of the County Purchasing Act, Nebraska Statutes, and awarded at the discretion of the Board based on the lowest or best bid.
