As of April 22, 2026 project is not awarded yet. Sealed bids for Wheeler Road Resurfacing & Related Work will be received by the Town of Princeton. The project will include road resurfacing and related work on Wheeler Road, Princeton, MA, covering approximately 19,000 square yards and including reclaiming, grading, compacting, and paving. Approximately 4,300 tons of asphalt are required. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Pavement Surfacing for the project with an estimated value of $574,096.25 is required. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development apply. The bidding and award of this contract will be pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
