The project includes providing all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the installation of an asphalt pavement overlay of approximately 65,500 square yards of Superpave Asphalt Mix Design, Wearing Course 9.5 mm Mix to a 1-1/2 depth, milling the existing surface to a depth of 1-1/2, pavement base repairs, installation of scratch/leveling course, replacement of sanitary sewer manhole frames and covers, replacement of inlet top units, installation of pavement line striping and pavement markings, and miscellaneous work on Persimmon Drive, Winterberry Lane, Butternut Lane, Sugarpine Lane, Splitleaf Lane, Sagebrush Lane, Sourwood Lane, Red Cedar Circle, Sugarberry Lane, Cottonwood Drive, Longleaf Court, Roundwood Circle, Springwood Lane, Corkwood Lane, and Sixth Avenue in Collegeville Borough. The project will also include providing all labor, equipment, and materials to remove and replace plain cement concrete curb at ADA/PennDOT compliant curb ramps, to remove and replace concrete ADA/PennDOT compliant curb ramps, and to install ADA compliant detectable warning surfaces. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
