The Town of Hopkinton, Department of Public Works is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the Drainage Improvement Project on Ash-Fenton Street. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as DRAINAGE, for the project with an estimated value of $813,440.00 is required. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check the Town's website frequently for addenda. Questions regarding the contract must be submitted in writing by the specified deadline. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Attention is called to the requirement to pay minimum wage rates (prevailing wage) where applicable, as well as compliance with OSHA requirements. A bid deposit of not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the proposed work is required. A Labor & Materials Payment Bond of 50% of the value of the proposed work is required. No performance bond is required. Evidence of insurance coverage is required at the time of award. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, limit the work to available funds, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Town. Question Deadline 03/16/2026 at 2:00 PM ET
