Bids are to be submitted for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the Buffalo County 610 Building North Entrance Addition. The work includes building construction, site development, renovation, and demolition, covering general construction, structural, mechanical, and electrical work. Bids must be signed, sealed, dated, and submitted in a sealed envelope with the contractor's firm name and the project name clearly identified. Bids are to be delivered on the official bid form, and will be opened publicly at the specified time and location. No emailed or faxed bids are accepted. All subcontractor quotations are to be sent to the general contractor. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the lump sum bid amount is required, payable to Buffalo County, Nebraska, in the form of cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond. The contractor must furnish performance bonds, comply with insurance requirements, and will not pay sales tax as a purchasing agent for the owner. No pre-bid conference is scheduled. Project consists of an approximate 247 square foot addition to the north side of the existing building. All construction and finishes interior and exterior will match what is in or on the existing building. Some limited remodel is required within the existing building including HVAC and electrical rework and some limited casework and finishes alterations. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than four (4) days before date set for receipt of bids. The reply will be in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be forwarded to known recipients. April 6, 2026: Commence Construction. August 7, 2026: Substantial Completion. August 21, 2026, 2026: Final Completion.
