Reference Number 0000413494 Pitkin County Open Space and Trails Department is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to implement the project described in the attached engineered plan set and specifications. This project consists of constructing a grade separated trail crossing (underpass) of SH-133 approximately 0.5 mile north of the McClure Pass summit. The underpass structure will be concrete and can be either precast segmental or cast-in-place. Two lanes of traffic must be maintained throughout the duration of the project which will require phased construction of the underpass. Additionally, the project consists of the construction of retaining walls and approach trail segments.
