Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Danvers, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work of the Street Layout and Acceptance Program will be conducted by the Bidder. The Bidder will be responsible for conducting research, field surveys to locate existing monumentation and boundary evidence, perform office calculations and plotting of field and record data and compute roadway layouts. The Bidder will be responsible for drafting Street Layout plans (ink-on-mylar) suitable for acceptance by the Select Board and recording at the Registry of Deeds. The Bidder will be responsible for the installation of monumentation approved by the Danvers Planning Board and designated on the approved Subdivision Plans for the designated roadways. The Bidder will be responsible for drafting As-Built plans (ink-on-mylar) including such information as, but not limited to, manholes, sidewalk, driveway aprons, grass strips, curbing, utility poles, valves, hydrants, sewer, water, electric, tele-com, stormwater utility connections, rim and invert information, including a profile view of stormwater and sewer, and house corners on abutting streets. The Bidder will be responsible for providing all materials and performing all work. The Contract Time shall be 360 calendar days to complete all work, commencing ten days following the effective date of the Agreement. Question Deadline 03/05/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be received in writing by the Town of Danvers, 1 Burroughs Street, Danvers MA 01923 Attn: Stephen King, P.E., at least ten days before the date herein set for the opening of bids. Written clarifications or interpretations will be issued by Addenda not later than five days before the bid opening date. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other clarifications or interpretations will be without legal effect. The undersigned further agrees to pay OWNER, as liquidated damages, $50.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the Contract Time Limit or extension thereof that the Work remains incomplete, in accordance with the terms of the Agreement. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.
