Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Algonquin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project involves full-depth reclamation with Portland cement and HMA resurfacing on Wynnfield Dr, White Chapel Ln, Westbourne Pkwy, Lancaster Ln, Notting Hill Rd, and Richmond Ln, with HMA resurfacing only on Bloomsbury, White Chapel, and Lancaster Courts. Work within the roadway limits also includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveway apron replacements, storm sewer replacement and lining. There is also installation of a new 8" DI water main on Notting Hill Rd, including water service line adjustments and installation of new fire hydrants, valves, and vaults. All work must comply with Illinois Prevailing Wage laws, state labor requirements, Public Act 30 ILCS 570, and Equal Employment Opportunity laws. A 5% bid security and 100% performance and labor/material bonds are required. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any bids. Bid documents are free of charge and available online. Location of Project The project is located at south of 1521 Wynnfield Drive, east of 1531 Westbourne Parkway, and north of Longmeadow Parkway in the Village of Algonquin, Kane County, Illinois.
