Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Hope, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; water / sewer project; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work consists of the replacement of watermain, storm sewer, and street improvements with the following approximate quantities for the Base Bid: 6,800 LF Remove and Replace Concrete Curb and Gutter, 27,700 SY Reclaim and Shape Bituminous Pavement, 42,700 LF Mastic Prior to Wear Paving, 40,000 SY Mill Bituminous Pavement (depth 2" - 3"), 49 EA Remove and Replace Storm/ Sanitary Sewer Frame and Rings, 18 EA 2x3 CB, 4' - 8' Diameter Storm Sewer CBMH/MH, 200 LF 12" - 33" RCP Storm Sewer Pipe, 3 EA 6"- 8" Gate Valve and Box, 10,650 TN Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course Mixture (2B, 3B), 3,330 SF 6" Concrete Driveway, 2,400 SY Hydromulch with Seed, 2,170 LF 4" Solid Line Multi-Component Ground In, and 112 LF 24" Solid Line Paint. Alternates include additional reclaim and overlay streets, Meadow Lake Outlet, Northwood Park Trail Improvements, and Hidden Valley Basketball Court. Instructions to bidders include that only electronic bids submitted through QuestCDN will be accepted, bid security in the amount of 5% must accompany each bid, prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN, and bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interests of the Owner. The successful bidder must be a responsible contractor as defined by Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. The prime contractor must provide verification of compliance for themselves and all first-tier subcontractors, and submit a supplemental verification under oath before contract execution that all subcontractors and motor carriers meet the responsible contractor criteria.
