The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: demolition, earth work, curbing, asphalt pavement, concrete work, utility work, and landscape restoration associated with the 2026 Summer Paving Maintenance Project at Woodland Intermediate School and the District’s Administrative Office in Gurnee, Illinois. Instructions to bidders: Hard copies or digital downloads of the documents can be obtained after 2:00 pm on February 25, 2026 by contacting BHFX Digital Imaging, with a non-refundable fee required for each set. A pre-bid meeting will be held via video conferencing. Sealed bids must be received at the Woodland School District 50 Administrative Offices by 10:00 a.m. on March 18, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the Contract Sum. Contractors shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act and must submit electronic copies of certified payrolls with each application for payment. The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District.
