The project involves the development, construction, operation, and transfer of a new boulevard with single lanes of northbound and southbound traffic, a landscaped island along the entire thoroughfare, two single lane roads for east and westbound traffic, decorative streetlights and landscaping, and water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure necessary to serve a new multifamily development at W Garden Street/W 1000 N Poplar Street in Fortville with approximately 206 new units. It also includes improvements to the existing lift station and all related site work for the above improvements. The project is to be funded by the Town through bonds, with a budget not to exceed $8,000,000, and aims to be designed, built, and constructed in an expedited manner, targeting completion by Spring 2027. Proposals must include a cover letter, project approach to a guaranteed maximum price, project schedule, relevant experience, development budget, proposed project team, narrative of services, and a proposed development fee range. Five hard copies and three USB copies of the proposal must be provided, with confidential information labeled and separately submitted on a separate drive marked CONFIDENTIAL. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked and submitted to the Town Manager's office by the specified deadline.
