Renovation of a municipal facility in Hillsboro, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work entails the construction of new mezzanine railings at the existing Highland County Justice Center. One bid will be received for all work as described in the Contract Documents, including General Trades. Bidders are required to comply with all requirements in the bid packet, including Prevailing Wages, various insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price. Bidders must furnish all information requested on or accompanying the bid proposal. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as specified. Proposals must include a surety bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to at least ten percent of the proposal. A subsequent performance bond for 100% of the contract amount will be required. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. The proposal must be made on the provided forms, with prices quoted for the work. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. Each bidder is required to fill out the plan holder list application to be added to the plan holder list in accordance with the architect's request.
