The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for cleaning, routing, and sealing cracks in selected asphalt roadways. The work is to be performed on a square yard basis, covering approximately 488,000 square yards of roadways included in the Base Bid. The work of sealing cracks is to start no later than May 26, 2026 and be completed by October 23, 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted, accompanied by a bid security amounting to no less than 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City. Each prime contractor must have on file a Bidders Proof of Responsibility Statement with the City Clerk on or before the date and time set for the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment & Performance Bonds for the full amount of the contract within 10 days of award or execution of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and accept the bid which best serves the interests of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period not exceeding 60 days after the bid opening, and the City reserves the right to retain the bid security of the three lowest bidders during that time.
