Bids are invited for providing and installing one generator at the City's Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and one generator at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available at Sinton City Hall. Copies of these documents may be obtained by depositing $50.00 with the Engineer, refundable if documents and drawings are returned in good condition within 10 days after the bid opening. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety must be submitted with each bid for contracts exceeding $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Sinton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project is financed with assistance from the General Land Office under the Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation program and is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rates must be paid. Successful bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment and adherence to the City of Sinton Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts.
