The scope of work is to replace 7 doors at the wastewater pumpstation project for the City of York. Bidders are instructed to submit sealed bids for the project to the City of York at 100 E. 4th Street, York Nebraska 68467. Questions must be submitted no later than 3/12//2026. Questions submitted after that date will not be considered. Required Specifications: o Contractor to contact Wastewater Superintendent to schedule a time to measure door openings o Provide and install five standard metal doors o Provide and install one set of double doors on North side of building o Provide and install one over-sized in height door o Doors are to be industrial brown in color to match existing garage doors o Some masonry work will have to be completed on this project o Old doors must be removed and hauled off by contractor, after install of new doors o Change orders must be submitted for any deviation of work that affects the bid cost submitted by contractor. Change orders must be approved by a representative of the City of York, prior to work be completed. o Contractor must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and Nebraska Department of Water, Energy & Environment/EPA environmental guidelines o Contractor that gets awarded bid, must become a licensed contractor with the City of York, if contractor is not already licensed with City of York James Paul may make a recommendation to the City Council on 4/2/2026. The City Council will select the lowest responsible bidder.
